Background

Ashley graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Malaysia and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2021.

Ashley is conversant in English, Malay, and Chinese.

Experience

Ashley’s practice focuses on real estate and banking matters, with core strengths in subsale transactions, business banking, housing development projects, and property financing. She advises and represents corporations, financial institutions, and individuals on acquisitions, disposals, leases and tenancies, and financing documentation.

She also has substantial experience in business banking and finance, including loan and security documentation, advice on financing structures, and regulatory or internal compliance matters. She works closely with financial institutions and corporate clients to facilitate documentation and completion of financing transactions.

Expanding into corporate and commercial work, Ashley has assisted in various due diligence exercises for Malaysian and overseas entities, including matters connected to foreign companies’ proposed IPOs, mergers, and acquisitions. Her experience across real estate and corporate matters allows her to provide well-rounded and commercially attuned legal support.
