She went on to complete her Bar Finals at Lincoln’s Inn, London. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1997 and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in June 1998 after completing her pupilage with Messrs Zain & Co. in Kuala Lumpur. She was with Messrs Wong & Partners, the correspondent law firm of Baker & McKenzie, an international law firm, in Kuala Lumpur before joining the Johor Bahru branch of Messrs Zaid Ibrahim & Co. in November 2000. She left Messrs Zaid Ibrahim & Co. on 31 March 2005 and is now a partner of Messrs Lee & Tengku Azrina.
