Ting Kiat graduated with LL.B (Hons) from the University of Malaya in 1991 and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in May 1992. He commenced his practice with Messrs Azim Ong & Krishnan in Kuala Lumpur (now known as Messrs Azim Tunku Farik & Wong) from 1992 to 1994 in the area of banking and insurance litigation. In 1994 he joined Messrs Andrew Wong & Co. in Johor Bahru, handling property and banking documentation, and was made a partner on 1 January 1995. In June 1999, he practiced in Messrs Zaid Ibrahim & Co., currently the largest law firm in Malaysia, handling corporate and commercial matters, where he was made a partner on 1 September 2000. He started his own partnership firm with Tengku Azrina binti Raja Abdul Aziz in the name of Messrs Lee & Tengku Azrina on 1 April 2005, and is the Managing Partner of the firm.

Tengku Azrina graduated with B.A. (Hons) from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom in 1996 and has been conferred a M.A. by the same institution. She went on to complete her Bar Finals at Lincoln’s Inn, London. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1997 and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in June 1998 after completing her pupilage with Messrs Zain & Co. in Kuala Lumpur. She was with Messrs Wong & Partners, the correspondent law firm of Baker & McKenzie, an international law firm, in Kuala Lumpur before joining the Johor Bahru branch of Messrs Zaid Ibrahim & Co. in November 2000. She co-founded Messrs Lee & Tengku Azrina on 1 April 2005.
She is the Independent Non-Executive Chairperson of AME Elite Consortium Berhad, which is a company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
